BrightEye™ is a high-resolution, scintillator-based dosimetry system designed for real-time monitoring of high-energy radiation beams, particularly in advanced radiotherapy techniques like FLASH. It combines a low-afterglow scintillator screen that emits visible light proportional to the dose received, a digital camera that captures the scintillation light at high frame rates, and software that analyzes the captured images in real-time to generate information about the beam delivery, including total dose, dose rate, dose per pulse, number of pulses, and spatial parameters such as flatness and symmetry. The BrightEye™ system is currently designated for research use only and is undergoing validation at multiple leading research centers.
